Firex Battery Powered, Basic Ionization Smoke Alarm

The Firex 461 smoke alarm is an ionization 9V battery powered smoke alarms. This unit has an 85 decibel horn, test switch, low battery signal, and a lighted power/alarm LED indicator (except 461); the LED flashes once per minute indicating it is receiving power. When in alarm, the LED flashes rapidly once per second.hese Firex smoke alarms should be placed in single-family households or in each individual living unit of multiple-family buildings. All smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years.
