About the Panasonic PC-RD05C3 Ceiling Radiation Damper

The use of a ceiling radiation damper for your ventilation fan may be required in your local fire codes. Working congruently with your Panasonic bathroom fans, the Panasonic PC-RD05C3 damper prevents the spread of heat and fire throughout your ventilation applications. This radiation damper is designed to protect ceiling penetrations in 1, 2 or 3 hour fire-rated floor/ceiling and roof/ceiling designs. The PC-RD05C3 is approved to be used with 60-110 CFM Fans with models such as:

• Panasonic FV-08VQ3
• Panasonic FV-11VQ3
• Panasonic FV-15VQ3
• Panasonic FV-05VF2
• Panasonic FV-08VF2

The Panasonic PC-RD05C3 features a high temperature, n on-asbestos reinforced thermal fabric to prevent high temperation dispersion in ducts and fire hazards. This damper utilizes a galvanized steel frame that installs with a wood framce ceiling or a t-bar ceiling. UL, NFPA and Warnock Hershey certified, the Panasonic PC-RD05C3 is backed by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
