About The Aprilaire 4851 Blower Activation Relay for 500, 600 & 700 Series Humidifiers (Automatic Control)

The Aprilaire 4851 Blower Activation Relay is designed for use with Aprilaire Humidifier models 500, 600 & 700.  The Aprilaire 4851 Blower Activation Relay is ideal for installations where the humidifier is installed on your heat pump or during the seasons where you may have a need for humidity but not heat.  By installing the Aprilaire 4851 Blower Activation Relay the humidifier can activate the HVAC blower to add humidity without being dependent on the need for heat.  By allowing for this function your Aprilaire humidifier will deliver comfort and protection of controlled humidification as needed.

Please Note: Aprilaire recommends that the humidifier is plumbed to hot water when using the Aprilaire 4851 Blower Activation Relay.
