The Bosch 520 HN NG utilizes natural gas to produce 117,000 BTUs per hour at a maximum. This non-condensing tankless water heater requires absolutely no electricity. A small turbine within the 520HNNG utilizes the flowing water to ignite the burner. The hydro-power generated ignition system allows the unit to operate without a standing pilot, an electric connection or even a battery. The 520 HN NG allows for water heating in areas where electricity is inaccessible or prone to outages. The 520 HN NG requires a 0.6 GPM activation flow rate and has a temperature range from high to low. Power is never compromised with large energy consumption; the Bosch Therm 520 HN has an 80% thermal efficiency rating.

The Bosch 520 HN NG is best used for your residential application and can be used in altitudes of up to 4,500 ft.
