About The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat with Vapor Filled Diaphragm - White
The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat uses vapor-filled dual diaphragm temperature control, which tightens the comfort range with more accuracy, and can save you up to 12% on your heating bill. The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat features an industrial grade Micro Switch with extended life, and easily replaces most wall-mount line voltage thermostats. The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat works perfectly with baseboard and in-wall fan heaters. The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat is a single pole 2 wire thermostat.
The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat is UL and CSA listed at 22 amps. The Cadet T4398A Performance Thermostat is white and the cover is made of polystyrene material. There is also two screws provided for mounting.

replacing cadet thermostat; located item on your site. not sure which one is needed; both picture look same...what is difference between cadet T4398A and B; and what is "doubleole:|". One I am replacing has two black wires and two red wired...thick ones (highter voltage ones...where I have to turn off the electricity)by Norman G. on 06-30-2012
T4398A: Makes heating circuit on temperature fall. With setting knob at far left (counterclockwise) position, provides calibration-free frost protection setting of 40°F (4°C).
T4398B: Makes heating circuit on temperature fall. With setting knob at Off position, provides double line break for fuse-protected 240V heating circuits.
Both models feature optional thermometer, located in the cover, to indicate the actual room temperature.
