The Cooper 9505TRDS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle features a stylish smooth finish and rounded edges that flow well with your walls. The Cooper 9505TRDS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle has a larger mounting strap that holds the receptacle in place eliminating floating installations. The Cooper 9505TRDS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle offers both side wiring and rear push-in wiring that allows you to simply push in your wire and features spring loaded clamps that automatically grip the wire. The Cooper 9505TRDS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle features a UL Listed safety shutter system that prevents foreign objects from being inserted into the receptacle. The safety shutters only open upon the insertion of a two or three prong plug. The Cooper 9505TRDS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle are designed in compliance with 2008 NEC Article 406.11. Common applications for the Cooper 9505TRDS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle are new residential construction; remodel/retrofit residential construction; apartment buildings; condominiums and townhouses; hotels, motels, inns and suites with kitchenettes; retirement communities, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Note: 2008 NEC Article 406.11 applies to new construction only. For use with copper(Cu) wiring. Works with any standard Decorator/rocker style wallplate (Sold Separately).
