Questions & Answers

Does the water stay inside zero entry shower door and does a wheel chair fit width?

by Eric/Louise C. on 07-19-2012

The Door listed above is designed to be installed as a bathtub door set, and is not designed for stand up showers. For the stand up shower model with 72" tall doors, click here

Most standard wheelchair's require 32" clearance to head straight in, however, to be able to maneuver into the shower properly, you will want a greater width to provide adequate clearance. The door above is 48" wide, providing extra space for turning. For a better idea, you may want to test the wheelchair for turning radius to make sure you will be satisfied once teh doors are installed.
