Elco EL55ICA Airtight Shallow Housing is for use with insulated ceilings. The integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping, and is adjustable to accommodate up to 1-1/4" thick ceilings. The adjustable socket bracket allows for different lamp types/sizes and proper and consistent lamp positioning.

For use with: 5" Line Voltage Recessed Trims

• For direct contact with ceiling insulation
• Integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping
• Adjustable socket bracket allows for different lamp types/sizes and proper and consistent lamp positioning
• Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has six 1/2" knockouts with true pry-out slots
• Captive bar hangers span 24" joists and can be repositioned 90 degrees
• 5 1/2" height allows for use in 2 x 6 construction
• Housing adjusts 3/4" to accommodate various ceiling thickness
