It can be controlled by either a Maestro fan or a fan/light combination.

The Lutron CM-FQ1 1A Maestro Fan Canopy Module installs right above the fan you’ll be using it with, and has the ability to control a maximum of four fans with just one control! This gives you a great level of control and efficiency with the fans you use in your home. One ceiling canopy module can be used per fan, and each fan has a 1.0 amp load maximum. Use this product along with the Maestro MA-AFQ4 or the MA-FQ4FM controls.

The Lutron CM-FQ1 1A Maestro Fan Canopy Module is only available in white. It is UL listed to safety standards in both Canada and the United States.
