The Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle features a stylish smooth finish with rounded edges that will flow elegantly with your walls. The Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle is designed to all style and elegance with the two-tone color and sleek lines. The Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle has larger mounting straps the firmly hold the receptacle in place eliminating the problems of "floating" installations. The Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle provides two different wiring options; side wiring and rear push-ins allowing you the ability to simply push in your wire and have the spring loaded clamps automatically grip the wire. The Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle features a UL listed safety shutter system that prevents foreign objects from being insterted into the receptacle. The safety shutters will only open when a two prong or three prong plug is inserted. The Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle is designed in compliance with 2008 NEC Article 406.11. Typical applications for the Cooper 9505TRWS Aspire 15A Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle are new residential construction; remodel/retrofit residential construction; apartment buildings; condominiums and townhouses; hotels, motels, inns and suites with kitchenettes; retirement communities, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Note: 2008 NEC Article 406.11 applies to new construction only.

For use with copper(Cu) wiring. Works with any standard Decorator/rocker style wallplate (Sold Separately).
