The Halo H277 277V to 120V Magnetic Transformer steps line voltage down from 277 volts to 120 volt fixture operating voltage.  The Halo H277 277V to 120V Magnetic Transformer is not designed for use with box type IC fixtures such as the Halo H274IC due to physical interference with the housing.
