What is full spectrum lighting?


Full spectrum lighting replicates natural sunlight. This is used for correct color perception where it is imperative to match colors. Proponents of full spectrum lighting say that it reduces glare, increases productivity, operates cooler, and may increase feelings of well being due to the simulation of natural daylight. It is important to note that while some companies market their products as being "full spectrum" lamps, almost any flourescent lamp can become a "full spectrum" lamp by simply using a full spectrum tube or bulb. Many manufactures offers full spectrum bulbs for use in many fixtures.
