YES. Confirm your unit's IC (insullation contact) rating. Most  exhaust fans, exhaust fans with light, and heater combination units are IC rated to R40. Check your your specific units rating along with the insullation rating covering the unit. This information can be found on the specification sheet available through the manufacture web site.

Exhaust fans with a UL listing for installation over a tub or shower on a GFCI circuit can be installed over a tub or in a shower.  Units that include any type of heating fuction to them are not able to be installed over a tub or shower. Check you specific product for more information.

NO.  Several exhaust fans can be installed in a wall. The limiting factor will be the thickness of the wall cavity. Typical construction uses 2" x 4" studs which will limit the number of fans that will fit within this space. Always mount the exhaust fan as high up on the wall as possible. Exhaust fans with lights and units with heating functions should not be mounted within a wall.
