About this Product
Many homeowners who are looking to retrofit their homes with new accent lighting often run into challenges when installing new fixtures: insulation in their ceilings that results in a potential fire hazard when exposed to a light fixture’s excess heat. The Halo H7ICT remedies this problem by utilizing Halo’s integral thermal protector technology.
The Halo H7ICT is also easy to install no matter where you’re going to use it. It features simple captive bar hangers, which enable the housing to be used anywhere within the full 24" joist span. The socket also fastens tightly into the unit’s trim for proper lamp positioning.
Perfect for any home’s established décor, this unit is offered in a variety of colors, including black, bronze, copper, white and brushed nickel. The Halo H7ICT is also UL listed and CSA certified, making it one of the most popular choices for modern homes.Elco Compatible Housing Cross Reference Model:

Questions & Answers
I have several of these recessed light fixtures (Halo R-7 ICT 6 inch) with dimmers on the main floor of my bungalow. Two are over a kitchen island and two are over recliner easy chairs. I would like the lumens associated with a 65 or 75 watt incandescant flood lamp. What is the recommended lamp for these fixtures? Additionally could I use a compact florescant lamp with similar lumens? Thanks.
The Halo R-7ICT is designed for 120V Incandescent Lamps only, however, convertible (CFL) flourescent bulbs should work for you. However, these are manufactured for standard Incandescent bulbs of your desired wattage and color spectrum.
