The housing also provides protection against rust and corrosion giving it the ability to be installed just about anywhere. The Hayward HCP100 Commercial Pump also features a clear lid making visual examination of the strainer basket a breeze. Just look through the clear lid of the pump to see if it needs cleaning and if so the lid can also be easily opened without the use of tools. The impeller and flange of the Hayward HCP100 Commercial Pump are crafted from glass-reinforced Noryl to create a maximum strength to weight ratio.
