A few issues with this switch.
Its not all that well made. If you are using 14 gauge or larger, the switch will flex within its frame and be a pain to line up with a decora plate. Not to mention the fact you have to file one edge down slightly to fit into a standard decora plate as ours was too large to fit.
The biggest issue is its noisy. We placed this switch out on a porch to operate a large ceiling exhaust fan (Florida). Not only could we hear the switch ticking away over the noise of the fan, but we could hear it inside the house as well. The switch lasted less than an hour before we removed it.
The Leviton switch (sku 164000) we replaced it with was a substantially better build quality and did not make any noise at all.
