The HA05 Screw-in Lamp Module is a Z-wave enabled device and is fully compatible with any Home Settings network and any Z-wave enabled network. Z-wave enabled devices displaying the Z-wave logo can also be used with Home Settings modules and controllers regardless of the manufacturer, and Home Settings modules and controllers can also be used in other manufacturers Z-wave enabled networks. Each module in a Home Settings network is designed to act as a repeater. Repeaters will re-transmit the RF signal to ensure that the signal is received by its intended destination by routing the signal around obstacles and radio dead spots.

Until now, the ability to reliably and cost effectively control lighting, electronics and electrical devices in the home, using Radio Frequency, was extremely limited. Intermatic introduces a line of cost effective plug-in modules, in-wall receptacles and switches and easy-to-use controllers that allow fingertip control of multiple items in and around the house.
