on the Intermatic HB800RCL it looks like the two plug ins are on the bottom underneath the unit, is that correct? also are the plug ins three hole which includes a ground capability? also will the unit withstand 110 to 114 degree heat?by James M. from Las Vegas NV on 06-03-2013
Yes, the unit does have the receptacles at the underside of the unit and they do have the 3 prong that includes the ground. For Environmental conditions, you would want to speak to Intermatic about its capabilities.INTERMATIC 815-675-7000on 08-05-2013
I have two fountain pumps on a water feature - One is 115v/2.5Amp, the other is 115v/1.3 Amps. Is the Intermatic HB800RCL timer sufficient to run both these pumps together & does the timer have the capability to run them with different start times? Thanksby Bruce S. on 08-04-2012
The Intermatic HB800RCL timer can manage up to 15 amps., which is sufficient for your two fountain pumps, however, with this timer, you will not have the functionality to set different on/off times per electrical device. Both outlet are controlled by the same programmed setting.on 08-06-2012
I am looking to purchase a Intermatic HB800RCL Outdoor Digital Timer - 125 Volts AC, 60 HZ. It is for my swimming pool the motor is a 3/4 horse power motor and has a reating of 15 amps. Will this timer handle this motort and pump. I purchased a timer last year from another site and it burnt out after 3 months. WIll this one handle the above motor?by Bill R. on 05-20-2012
The Intermatic HB800RCL will be able to handle the 15 amp motor, however, to ensure proper long lasting operation, we recommend installing a timer with a greater amperage rating to reduce the risk of damage to the timer.
The Intermatic T101 (click here to view) has a 40Amp rating and is designed for 120V outdoor use. This is a great option for use with your existing pool motor and allows you to add additional features, including lighting, water features, etc.on 05-22-2012Please login or register before adding a question.
