Description

For complete protection against fire and carbon monoxide, the Kidde KN-COSM-IB hardwired talking combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm with a backup battery is the standalone for safety. The voice-activated alerts of the Kidde KN-COSM-IB alleviate any confusion when it comes to dealing with different warnings. This technologically advanced protection unit not only alerts by voice command, but also through LED warnings for the hearing impaired.

Customer Reviews

I love these, bought 6, they're great!

I bought 6 of these for my house, they were easy to install, and I know that my kids are safe. We live in a house that was built around 1950, and they didn't have CO detectors back then (obviously), so who really knows unless your are protected.

Excellent

I just purchased these; three to be exact. Delivery exceeded my expectations. My home only had smoke alarms that were 9 years old. I researched and found this model to have favorable reviews. Install took 15 minutes and I'm very pleased with the product. No false alarms. I would recommend this model.

do any of the smoke - carbon monoide detectors come in almond color?

by Mardele D. on 07-30-2012

Unfortunately not, some of the models are an off-white tone, however, there are resources online to describe a safe method of painting your smoke alarm cover to match your ceiling without effecting the functionailty of the detector.
