- Customer Reviews
These bulbs produce a noticable ringing noise in our home installation. There seven lights, recessed in the ceiling, on the same circuit, in a grid pattern over our 5' x 4' kitchen table. The current dimmer is an older variac type. I intended to install a dimmer designed for use with LED lighting. I contacted technical service at Light Efficient Design regarding this issue. LED forwarded test results which show a low level buzzing noise from these bulbs even with dimmers designed for use with LED and CFL lighting. I prefer the bright white daylight effect provided by these bulbs. They do dim. With the exception of the noise, these bulbs would be very satisfactory.
