The LED-8061 is a high powered 100 watt LED fixture with enclosed lamp that produces enough light to equal that of a 250 watt HID fixture. Standard HID bulbs last anywhere from a few thousand hours to 10K hours, however due to very hot operating temperatures, and a glass bulb design, HID bulb will burn out or shatter pre-maturely from shifts in temperature or exposure to wetness. The LED-8061 is fully enclosed and is rated to last 50,000 hours, with much less chance of malfunction or pre-mature burnout.

The Light Efficient Design LED-8061 long lasting design saves maintenance crews money on labor of light bulb changes. If you are currently using Incandescent light bulbs, the labor alone to change up to 40 Incandescent bulbs per each single LED light bulb will be greater than the initial cost of a LED lamp.
