About the Lutron DVELV-300P-BL 300W Diva Electronic Low Voltage Dimmer, Single Pole – Black

This single pole dimmer is an excellent option for homeowners looking for more control over light levels throughout the house. The Lutron DVELV-300P-BL works with both incandescent and halogen 120-volt light bulbs, as well as other low-voltage electronic fixtures, to provide precise adjustments to the amount of light in a room.

The Lutron DVELV-300P-BL contains a large paddle switch that turns lights off or on to a preset level. Additionally, the dimmer features power failure memory, which preserves preset light levels in the case of a power outage. The unit also has a small, smooth-sliding dimmer for quick and convenient modifications to light levels. For enhanced visibility in low-light situations, the unit has a built-in soft glow night-light.

Installation for the Lutron DVELV-300P-BL is simple with the single pole construction, but please note that the dimmer does require a neutral wire connection. The neutral black color of this dimmer easily matches the décor of any home and the unit will fit into any wall plate with large standard-size opening. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and CSA International have approved the unit.
