The rocker switch on the side allows you to select your desired level of lighting quickly and accurately. The soft glowing LED's on the side of the Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer let you know ther current level of light within the room as well as act as an indicator light when the lights are turned off which makes locating the switch in the dark simple. The Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer also has a fade-to-off feature that dims the lights slowly until they are off giving you ample light while leaving the room. The Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer also offers a convienent FASS service switch that lets you remove the power the the main switch without having to take the dimmer out of the wall.
