The Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer has earned the title of "smart dimmer" largely because of the advanced technology included in such a small device. This "smart dimmer" makes turning your lights on to your favorite level as simple as just tapping the switch once, and if you wish to bring your lights to the highset point of illumination then just tap the switch twice. The rocker switch on the side allows you to select your desired level of lighting quickly and accurately. The soft glowing LED's on the side of the Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer let you know ther current level of light within the room as well as act as an indicator light when the lights are turned off which makes locating the switch in the dark simple. The Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer also has a fade-to-off feature that dims the lights slowly until they are off giving you ample light while leaving the room. The Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer also offers a convienent FASS service switch that lets you remove the power the the main switch without having to take the dimmer out of the wall. To finish the beautiful look of the Lutron MIR-600M-MN 600W Maestro IR Dimmer add the coordinating Lutron Claro wallplate (sold seperately).
