The Lutron MSC-AD-BI Maestro Companion Dimmer is designed as an add-on dimmer that can be used with the Maestro IR dimmer. You can add up to 9 of these companion dimmers to just one Maestro IR dimmer. A couple of precautions that need to be taken when installing the Lutron MSC-AD-BI Maestro Companion Dimmer are that you do not paint over the plate and that you do not use this companion dimmer with mechanical 3 way or 4 way switches. The color of this Lutron MSC-AD-BI Maestro Companion Dimmer is biscuit.
