The Lutron SLV-603P-LA is a three way dimmer, which means that you can choose either to pair it with another switch or dimmer to control one source of light, or use it on its own. The device is extremely easy to use; it contains a separate rocker switch to turn the device on or off, and your preferred settings are saved when you adjust the Lutron SLV-603P-LA’s slide dimmer.
