Product Information:About the Nutone ZN80L - 80 CFM Bathroom Ventilation Fan, < 0.3 Sones, 6" Duct with UltraSmart Technology and UltraLucent LightingThe Nutone Ultra Series bathroom ventilation & exhaust fans are the newest and most efficient technology to be released by Nutone. The super quiet ecological design produces more ventilation, with less power and less noise than any other fan on the market. The Nutone ZN80L uses only 0.8 amps at 120 volts (only 0.1 amp is used by the DC blower motor), including the built-in high efficiency UltraLucent Lighting. The 80 CFM motor exhausts through a 6" duct outlet accompanied by a 6" - 4" reducer. The super quiet insulated housing prevents noise levels below 0.3 Sones, while the super tight construction ensures your bath fan will remain quiet for many years to come. The housing is installed room side, and is recessed into the ceiling for a flush mount design. the included grille covers the housing, giving a high end quality finished look. The ZN80L housing measures 11-3/8" W x 10-1/2" L x 7-5/8" H with a white polymeric finished grille measuring 13" L x 14" W. Power Savings The Nutone ZN80L uses a UltraGreen DC Motor (most efficient in the industry), using up to 88% less electricity than typical bath fans. The large 6” duct opening allows for more air movement, also resulting in a more quiet operation. The UltraLucent lighting (built-in) uses high output flourescent lighting that uses minimal electricty. Total amperage use is only 0.8 amps @ 120V. Reducing Noise Levels Get rid of the annoying fan buzz! The Nutone ZN80L operates at less than 0.3 Sones, making it virtually silent to the human ear. The low noise provides a much more enjoyable bathroom experience. The noise levels of the ZN80L are greatly reduced due to a more solid and super tight construction not found in other bath fans. The insulated housing prevents excess noise from exiting the housing structure. Ease of Installation The first fan of it’s kind to take into account the installer!
