About Panasonic WhisperSense 80 CFM Bathroom Fan with Motion & Humidity Sensors

Enjoy automated air ventilation in your home with Panasonic’s leading edge innovation and technology in bathroom fan systems. With the Panasonic WhisperSense series of exhaust fans, you can enjoy the serene comfort of automatically operated ventilation wherever it is needed in your home.

With the exclusive dual sensor technology, the Panasonic FV-08VQC5 utilizes a SmartAction motion sensor and a built-in humidity sensor. These two sensors work together to automatically operate when either motion is detected or humidity levels rise during certain conditions. The Panasonic WhisperSense fan also includes a built-in adjustable delay timer that can be set from 30 seconds to 60 minutes when motion is no longer detected or when humidity is below preset levels. With an automatic shut off function, power consumption is little worry for the Panasonic FV-08VQC5. With many functional settings that the bathroom fan can operate at, it is easy to use this fan for multiple applications in both residential and commercial use. At virtually silent operation, the Panasonic FV-08VQC5 produces 80 CFM while only emitting less than 0.3 sones of noise. Moreover, this bathroom exhaust fan only consumes 15.8 Watts at 80 CFM, allowing for efficient and effective bathroom ventilation.

Panasonic provides the ease of installation with a double hanger bar system. Other great features include rust-proof paint treatment on galvanized housing, a built-in damper to prevent backdrafting, 4” or 6” dual duct adaptors, and its ability to function without a switch. Energy efficiency is backed by Energy Star qualifications. The WhisperSense is also UL listed for tub and shower enclosure when used with a GFCI branch circuit wire.
