Great Solution for baths w/ space limits

These days, with body sprays, multiple shower heads, etc., homeowners are in need of a low noise, powerful fan. Sometimes inline fans may not be practical due to space and ducting requirements, multiple inlet grills, and Y pipes, so these higher powered 290cfm Panasonic fans offer a good solution.

Very powerful but quality not perfect

Installed fan smoothly, turned it on and loud ticking sound coming from the fan. First i thought it was off balance so i made sure it was level. Still loud sound. Tried to add weights to blades - no deal. Took the whole thing off - stuck my hand in it and turned the blades by hand - found a tiny hair-sized splinter hanging off the outside of the blade - ripped it off and works like supposed to. For the price and reputation i was expecting better quality testing...

Questions & Answers

So in my brand new home, they put only a 110 broan bathroom fan in a pretty good size bath with 9 foot ceilings. I have moisture on my crown molding when someone showers. After figuring my size room, it should have at least 290 cfm. But the duct work is 4 inch. My question is, would I need all 6 inch duct and then does that mean that the vent going out the roof would have to be different making a bigger hole needing to be cut in the roof?

There are many factors to consider when it comes to sizing fans for bathrooms. 290 CFM fan is good for bathrooms up to 250 sq. ft.. The higher the cfm the louder the fan. This fan would work with the condensation but the scones are above a 2.0, kind of loud. I would call into the sales dept to discuss your options. You can call me direct Rick 702-357-8745.
