Questions & Answers

does this unit come with a light bulb already installed and the unit fully assembeled and ready to install?

by ed B. on 08-27-2012

Yes, the fixture comes complete with bulb ready to install into your niche. Max output = 500W

If this is a new installation, you will need a water-safe niche that will house this fixture. If it is a remodeled installation, you will need to make sure the light fits your niche, and if not, a new niche must be installed.

How do you change the light bulb in the Pentair pool light? Does the cover unscrew? I have an old one that I am having difficulty opening.

by Verne W. from Humble, TX on 05-25-2012

The light bulb of a Pentair Amerilite Incandescent Pool Light can be replaced by unscrewing the front tension band, and removing the lens to gain access to the light bulb. Once the tension band and lens have been removed, the bulb can easily be unscrewed from the socket, and replaced with an equivalent bulb.
