About the Rheem RTG20214A Natural Gas Commercial Conversion Program Chip for RTG-95DVN

The Rheem RTG20214 allows you to convert your Rheem RTG-95DVN tankless water heater to commercial grade. With the addition of a built-in chip, the RTG20214A is designed to allow your RTG-95DVN to operate at higher water temperature. For commercial grade applications, the maximum water temperature is raised to 185° F. The RTG20214 is specific to the natural gas variant of the RTG-95DV, and cannot be used with other water heater power sources. The natural gas commercial conversion program chip is easy enough to be installed by yourself, so hiring a technician is not required. This chip is typically used for commercial applications only.

Note: Only model RTG-95DVP can be converted using this program chip, make no attempt to convert any other tankless model.
