The Streamlight 44400 is one of our best performing lanterns. It is the number one safety lantern for Fire Departments across the country, and we take our task of lighting their work very seriously. It is also extremely useful in a whole range of other applications outside of the field of firefighting.

A handy feature of the Streamlight 44400 is the two blue LED taillights that are available for backlighting. This can be very useful if one person is walking ahead and the other person is needs a light to help guide them along. Especially in a smoke filled room (as it would be for most firefighters in the line of duty) this is very important.

The Streamlight 44400 is strong and durable -- in fact, it’s nearly impossible to destroy it, even if you try (Although why would you want to destroy a device like this?) It is built to last!
