Types of Intermatic Timers

Standard “little yellow” Timers are very basic units which are based on the same design since the 1940’s. Suitable to controls several voltage levels (mostly 110V / 220V), and several connected devices. Standard Intermatic timers are meant for indoor installation where exposure to water and excessive moisture is not a problem.

Standard Intermatic timers may include mechanic and electronic timed switches, rugged exterior, and come in 24 hour, 7 day, or 365 day timer formats. Irrigation timers have a more advanced time sequence, allowing timed controls in smaller intervals such as 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10, 30, 60, etc. Intermatic timers designed for Irrigation often are encased in a waterproof enclosure to prevent electrical shock when irrigating.
